Wander through an incredible assortment of art, archaeology, books, photography and local history specimens at the Ambleside Museum and Armitt Library. Items include watercolours from Beatrix Potter, Neolithic and Roman material from the Ambleside area, and written material belonging to John Ruskin. Special exhibits and events are scheduled regularly.
